O.Oth. (orig. Dek. Oddan) 1. A small town along the northern shore of the Nyr Platan.
Oddon Dam
Oth. 1. A large earthen levee above Oddon and Portage that forms Damtown Lake along the Run Morus. 2. Location where Ogor and Ortod were killed, and Jak the Red was immobilized and pitched into the town below.
Oddon Keep
Oth. 1. Grey and red stone keep above the towns of Oddon and Portage that is the home and seat of the Yurander family. 1. Location where the group helped thwart a siege by the Minions of Danok in Lanal 652.
Odho
Odh. 1. A characteristically tall and dark-skinned people indigenous to the Dreamlands.  The Odho commonly wear traditional costumes of blue cloth with white bone accessories.  Their language is Odhoro.
Odhoro
Odh. 1. The musical language of the Odho that is "spoken" in a series of sliding hoot-like sounds made through rounded lips.

Oth. 1. Variation of contemporary Othic spoken by Oddfriends.
Ogar the Blind
O.Oth. 1. The obese white boatman of the Lower Streets. 2. Apprentice-servant to Imp the Mad.

Ogd. [ogre] 1. Any of a large race of barbaric humanoids; thought to be giant-kin. Typically twice Uren-height, Ogdar are renown for their incredible strength and odious habits.
Og'Nork Dam
Ogd. 1. An abandoned Ogdar lair of the Fractured Hills that was purged by Enthor Taranal preceeding his knighthood.

Ogd. 1. An Ogre guard of Eironhold who accompanied the group to Oddon and was killed atop Oddon Dam by the Minions of Danok.

Murd. 1. Master Dwürden warrior of the hammer who has adventured about the continent for centuries, searching for the tomb of his father, Dourn Ohlmdamnor. 2. A member of Endren's Seven.

O.Oth. 1. Mother of Carrala Terru and wife of Adias Daralien; mentioned on a Certificate of Death in the Hall of Sorrows.

Oth. Common. Tradespeak. 1. Variation of Dekàlan spoken and scribed in the region of Azàlari following the Last War. 2. Trade tongue adopted worldwide among sea-going merchants and sailors.
The Old City
Jad. 1. Plateau at the head of the Run Suluth delta in Jadth, build by the ancients (see The Old City)
Old Defenders
Oth. 1. Elite company of Lord's Men who defend the city walls.  Few of the wall soldiery ever enter the ranks of the Old Defenders.

Oth. 1. Variation of Dekàlan spoken and scribed in the region of Oth following the Last War.
Oldrem
O.Oth. 1. Thief of Torrom's Watch who was killed in Druur 652. 2. The man with the rotted chin.
Old Taládan
Oth. 1. Variation of Dekàlan spoken and scribed in the region of Taldàna following the Last War.
Old Taládan Road
Oth. 1.  Ancient highway that once connected Oth to Taldàna along a passage through the Evalshats.  The highway was destroyed by Acentran-Elve forces following the End War, though large stone slabs can still be found half-buried in the mountain passes.

O.Oth. 1. Warehouse factories where poor and indentured workers labor and live under the control of a merchant house; found primarily in the Naryard of Oth. 2. An arrangement of workplace and homes where pay is given for service, and taken again for rent, food, and loan repayment. 3. Any person enslaved by an oldan num.
Old Wall
Oth. 1. Ancient structure that once acted as a barrier between the City of Oth, and the areas to the north. The ruins of the Old Wall can still be found within the Northwoods.

Oth. 1. An elusive entity of the Northwoods.

Unkn. 1. Large kingdom founded in lands once belonging to Kandal.

Sar. 1. Swordfather of Orander, who led a small contingent to the City of Oth. 2. Died at Eagulthar's Rest on 9 Vulune 652.

Aza. ( -1107 HK) 1.  Zün mage who studied the origins of Züni magic.
Omtenema Vor
Dek. 1. The thinking veil; the mortal veil. 2. A magical barrier between the Ethereal and the mortal realm, which keeps inhabitants from passing from one to the next. (see also Kyurada Vor)

Ogd. 1. The pig-carrying Ogre worker of Eironhold who was a friend of Ogrug.
Elbis Ontànio
Kir. 1. Kirydian composer who traveled to Panath to study classic Dekàlan music.  Ontanio was executed in 181 DR for his relationship with the High Lady's favorite son.
Open Door Inn
Oth. 1. An upper class establishment near the South Gate in the City of Oth, where Kaithah Argentale convalesced following her escape from the Poisoners.

Dek. 1. The orycular exchange of knowledge between local knowing and unknowing entities within the Omtenema Vor. 2. Draga Orada Orycul.

Sar. 1. God of the Saranthi.
Oranold Dra
Dek. 1. Hall of Oranold. 2. Area of Kry Shurulm where Kaithah Argentale played Oberyl's Winter Song.

Murd. 1. The Great Secret, or Shame.
Order of Avarlin
Oth. (480 HK) 1. Decree by the High Lord of Oth for Dekàlan armies to land at Avarlin and raze the town.  Captured Elve were returned to Oth where they were imprisoned at Dagwurdunjun or executed among the Iron Colonnade.  At least one Dekàlan ship returning through the Nyr Durjin was sunk by Aqolaqban forces.
Order of the Arch
Oth. 1. A religious order consisting of masons, bricklayers, architects, engineers, and other worshippers of Thurkan the Apprentice. The Order of the Arch maintain the City Wall, Gates, and Keeps of the City of Oth.
Order of Deephold
Oth. 1. Secretive order of rangers who defend the Northwoods.
Order of Friends
Oth. 1. A fraternal order of men and women founded on principles of community and social interaction, established, organized, and headed by the temples of Amra-Dalàsia.
Order of the Golden Bells
Oth. 1. A religious order of dancers and performance artists founded in the worship of Amra-Dalàsia.

Order of Iron Death
Oth. 1. A secret religious order within the City of Oth, devoted to the worship of Attrakar the Artificer.
Order of the Iron Knights
Oth. Ordus Thardám Oth 1. Ancient order of knights devoted to the Lord of Oth and the Temple of Roth. (see Ordus Thardám Oth) (see more)
Order of Tacal
Oth. Pleasure Guild 1. A religious order devoted to delights of carnal experience. 2. Order that is the main religious body among the followers of Amra-Tacal.
Order of Woad
Oth. 1. A loose federation of cults devoted to the worship of Woad.
Order of Workers
Oth. (416- DR) 1. A religious fraternity of laborers and craftspeople founded by Lom who worship together and devote themselves and their work to Roth.  In 593 DR the Order rallied thousands of supporters to protest a shipping tax imposed by the Mechants' Guild.  The resulting uproar saw the burning of four guildhouses and the lynching of two ranking guild members.  This level of the rebellion against the Guild would not be seen again until the Kudom War of [year].

A holy order of Jadthari knights whose mission is to promote, uphold, and protect Dekàlan religious and cultural interests.  Within the City of Jadth, the Order of Red Knights serve as a de facto police force in matters that concern them.   As of 650 DR, the high commander of the order is Serewyl Nalagwyn of Ildûn.  Under Serewyl's command, the Order has grown in numbers and presence.  The knights deal harshly with those of non-Dekàlan descent, especially the Sha'al. Dek. 1. The northernmost Dekàlan city-state, founded in and devoted to the worship of Roth the Crafter. 2. Region bordered to the south and west by the Evalshat Mountains, to the north by Arduwu, and to the east by the Dekàlan Sea.
Othelve War
Oth. (681-683 HK) 1. Seventh century Dekàlan conflict between the region of Oth and the Elve of the Elder Wood.  The war precipitated from a Rothic decree that all craftsmen in the city-state should be servants of the Crafter, those that refused were imprisoned (see Dagwurdunjun), and some were killed.  Subsequent executions of Rothic craftsmen in Elve ports resulted in the Order of Avarlin which escalated into the three year war.
