"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred peers watching from the galleys
above. She called her Provider's name, and all could feel the power she commanded.
[name3] summoned his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts were in vain.
The next name she offered was his, and the misery of [name3] was legend."

is the Lord Knight Paladin of Sarat, highest ranked knight
of the Order of Sarat. In his early years within the
Order he received an oracle that he would one day rise against
the ancient western Empire and finished the task left uncomplete
by his forebearers centuries ago. In the vision presented
him, a much older Morgomir chopped off the heads of three
dragons and as they fell to the ground Sarat the Avenger laid
down his sword and wept with joy, for the unfinished task
was completed. For twenty years, this has been Morgomir's
goal. When he presented himself to the priests of Sarat
(following the death of his predecessor) and was dubbed Lord
Knight, he swore that to seek the truth of the vision that
had haunted him these many years. In the tradition of
Lord Knights before him he gathered an army (in this case
an adventuring band) and set off toward the first of the three
dragons, in Jadth. With this battle, he hopes that the
vision he received as a young man will begin to bloom true.
If it does not, the next Lord Knight may continue where
he failed. (O-11, 12)

holder near Gyrdon. A champion horsewoman and jouster,
Serewyl traveled to the annual tourney at Kirit Nalam where
she gained recognition and prize money. When she'd collected
enuogh money she sailed to Lanàdus to continue her
training. In Lanàdus, she participated in the
gruelling circuit of tourneys until she was noticed by a scout
for the Order of Red Knights. There she underwent years
of combat and religious training until she was knighted by
the Order in 641 DR. That same year she was sent to
Jadth to act as a lieutenant in the local Order. Her
most distinguishing career moment was the organization and
quelling of a Sha'al uprising in 646, to the south of Jadth.
Her soldiers slaughtered a dozen or more Sha'al that
had been murdering Uren residents.
