Unkn. 1.  A little worshipped minor "deity" of Oth whose faithful find holiness in fastidious cleaning of themselves and their community.  Nomor may have been a historical figure, possibly Nemkor of Ezmir, a member of an Amran order whose obligations included gentrification of ruined Taldàna.  Nemkor traveled to Oth in the 4th century DR and undertook the task of cleaning the oil and soot clad city; his efforts failed, but a single wall of the Harbor Ward's Southern Keep was made spotless, and remains so until this day.

Oth. 1. One of five great gates along the Oth citywall; a massive barbican with three sets of layered doors. 2. The buildings, plazas, and towers that compose the area around the City of Oth's northernmost gate. (see also Highgate, South Gate, Temple Gate, and West Gate)

Oth. Jutting pinnacle of land above the Cre Dulnar near Kry Shurulm.
North Road
Oth. 1. An old broad road that winds through many neighborhoods outside the citywalls of Oth. The road may have once reached the Northwoods, but now disappears somewhere in the hills south of the forest. The road has been rebuilt and diverted so much that it is difficult to follow.
North Square
Oth. 1. Broad naryard plaza inside Northgate which hosts daily markets and ocassional executions.
Northwall Inn
Oth. 1. A popular inn north of the City of Oth, where the group spent the night following Dammon's wizardmaking.
Northwall Road
Oth. 1.  Road that connects Kry Shurulm and Northaven along the outside of the Northwall.
Northwood Coven
Oth. 1. A supposed group of "renegade" mages that operate outside the sirkùli sorsèreul.
The Northwoods
Oth. 1. A large forested area to the north of the City of Oth. 2. A large forest of great age, littered with the relics of a culture all but erased except for some abandoned crumbling walls. The lower portion of the Northwood is scored by the busy hoof-tracks of the area's goblin populations. Above the Old Wall the forest grows more old and dangerous. (see Nar Drua'Dar)

Oth. 1. Woodland trading route through the Nar Drua'Dar from Denem to Avarlin.
Northwood Vulture
Oth. 1. A large and intelligent breed of vulture common to the Northwoods and areas above the City of Oth. An adult bird stands nearly five feet tall with dark brown feathers and shriveled black heads. The birds are not only feared for their size and ripping talons, but for the diseases they carry.  (see more)

O.Oth. 1. A member of the Derecauln.
Noth
Unkn. 1. A dark-skinned long-limbed people from the Shar who have been all but hunted to extinction in Nulura.  Histories of the area tell that the Noth were once the ruling people of the region, but that as their numbers dwindled they fell into disfavor.  Many Noth have immigrated to distant ports along Terèthor's eastern coast, where they typically cling to their own people and culture in small neighborhoods.

Tal. 1. A heavy magical (and likely hallucinogenic) incense that burns in the chapel for this time gives the body the appearance of life; the chest appears to rise and fall, the skin remains supple. The effect of the nuchru makes the dead appear sleeping. (see Amra: Burial )

A mysterious sexless slave-race of dull-violet humanoids who are captured deep within the Dreamlands.  Once captured, the Nuth are unswervingly obedient.  All labor in the City of Jadth is measured by the amount of work that can be performed in a given time by a team of the Nuth.  Slave traders report that the Nuth have a language that they use in their native homes, but once captured them are forevermore silent.  It is not known how Nuth procreate and none are born in captivity.

O.Jad. 1. A channel of water that passes between river islands or islands and the shore.
Illydphryl Nyllyraz
Ne.Nel. 1. A master Nekrule archer that lives in Nazhalyr, a city in the northern-most reaches of the Elve region of Arduwu.  In late 652 DR Illydphryl trained Mishara in the advanced use of the Elve bow, after he traveled long and hard from Oth to seek the master out.  Illydphryl is an old master of the Elve bow and veteran of an ancient war, having stormed across the Telabra Run with the Acentran-Elve armies over 600 years ago, prompting the fall of the Dekàlan Empire.

O.Oth. 1. An unremarkable rock island between Ghost Island and Tower Island.
Nyryh Drym
Aylr. 1. An ancient religion found on Aylyra centered around the worship of nature and ranks of past heroes.  Practitioners of Nyryh Drym were not attuned to the Chaos, but did wield magics left them at sacred places by their stonebuilding ancestors.
