"Wulwur looked out upon the fields where his tenants stood, despairing
their wilted crop. There would again be no harvest this year. The
Valanian had noticed the shrines fallen into disrepair, many of the stones had
been removed to repair fences and chimneys. They had sowed Kandlan's reward
in the past and now would feel his wrath."

been constructed by the Dwürden before the first Uren settled

the first place. Red kubrus is an inherited sign, granted to

A person who successfully clears the red kubrus, need not bear
the sign thereafter, and is sometimes granted a new seal or icon to
replace it.

within the City of Oth, wherein the High Lord organized the assassinations
of heads of the Merchants Guild
and the widespread sabotage and destruction of guild property to retaliate
against the guild's independent minting of their own coins. The
effect of the war was a renewed fear and respect of that High
Lord's perceived waning powers. The "war" is believed
to have initiated dire repercussions into the present day, including
the murder of the High Lord's most trusted advisor in the spring of
652 DR. 2. Sometimes called "Dayla's War", because
