Zalan
Dek. 1. Dekàlan goddess of luck, mischief, and thieves. Zalan's main temple stands in the desert city of Azàlari though shrines to the goddess may be found through the reaches of the old Empire. (see Zalan)

O.Aza. 1. Common name of Azàlari; meaning "of Zalan".

Oth. 1. An exclusive inconspicuous tavern in Dreg's Brewery.

Unkn. 1. Distant Lyrasti city and region.
Aren Zarad
Unkn. 1. A young archer who was tutored for some time by Mishara Silverpoint at Kry Shurulm; who was volunteered by the Captain of the Arrow to aid in clearing the borough of Cenotaph of its ghul problem. Aren was later revealed to be an Elve assassin who as part of his disguise had cropped the points from his Elve ears.  Aren was turned-over to Foulstern's care at Kry Shurulm where he was tortured extensively before being killed.

A.Pan. 1. First apostle of Path. 2. Compiler of the Heavenly Wisdoms, a pillar of the Pathic faith.
Zembra
O.Jad. 1. Small city upriver from Jadth along the Run Suluth, notable for its five ivory towers, thatch covered streets, and the hundreds that live in house boats along the calm bend in the river .  The city is much older than it appears and has attracted Bru attacks for as long as anyone can remember, an oddity in that the city is so deep within the Dreamlands, and so far from Bru regions.  Some have suggested that there is something in or beneath the city that attracts the Chaosborn, but no one knows for sure.  The city is believed to have built on the ruins of an ancient Sha'al community.

O.Lan. 1. A wizard of Taládan. 2. Nor Lodunin of Evermith from 582-633 DR.

Unkn. 1. A small god of Jadth. 2. God of the underdwellers.  Zeyir appears in many forms to many followers for it is believed that those who have encountered the dark god, have only heard his footsteps but never beheld his terrible face.  Zeyir is worshipped by many races including the Bru and troglodytes alike.

Zyr. 1. Zyrrn mage who emerged from the black tome at Oddon Keep on 11 Lanal 652 and was killed by Mishara's arrows.

O.Oth. 1. A follower of Ferret who was killed during the Candan Massacre.

O.Oth. 1. Lieutenant of Lord Rott's Company of the White Raven; acting leader in the absence of Saldus Greymane.
Zin Virael
Caph. 1. Underground political and commerical organization of Tasserus.
Zor
O.Oth. 1. Dynastic patriarch of the family of Rott, father of Hela the Believer.  Zor was opposed to his daughter being crowned the High Lady of Oth and sought to stop the coronation by killing his daughter the night before.  Temple Guard learned of the plot and seized him, imprisoning him until after the coronation was complete.  Hela's first order upon being crowned was to execute the treasoner, her father, for plotting against the will of the Temple and the state. This act of patricide is believed by many to have cursed the Rott family with terrible misfortune until the present day.
