"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred peers watching from the galleys
above. She called her Provider's name, and all could feel the power she commanded.
[name3] summoned his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts were in vain.
The next name she offered was his, and the misery of [name3] was legend."
translated from Dekàlan fragment found in ruins of Ilduùn

Dorgorum Ord
The Dwürden of Teréth End are
a secretive and often dour race whose history reaches back to the early
Ages when the Elve are said to have arrived on their "hundred sailed
ships". Since that early time, the Dwürden have built
fortresses of stone upon and beneath the mountains of the world, securing
themselves for a great war that has never happened.
When the ranks of the Dwürden faltered,
they allied with the Uren, adopting the primitive people and teaching
them many skills. The secrets of the Dwürden however are for
that race alone, and have never been shared with their Uren protégés.
Many have guessed at the secrets of the Dwürden, but only the
Elve have come close to understanding. In earlier times, all Dwürden
were probably indoctrinated into the secrets of the race, but as times
have changed so has the need for more layers of secrecy. Today,
only those initiated into the Dorgorum Ord are told theese truths, and
it is they who protect and uphold the ancient ways.
The secrets are so important to the Dorgorum
Ord that anyone thought to be nearing their discovery is sought and killed.
This remains the grim and endless task of the order, this and maintaining
an unfaltering wall between the world and their charge.
Membership and initiation into the Dorgorum
Ord is the highest honor that may be bestowed upon a Dwürden.
