"Closing his eyes he commanded the healing to begin. He
felt the failing heart beneath his fingers, but the body protested. 'I
am finished' the heart said, 'I have tried, but these wounds are too grave.'
'You will obey these commands,' he instructed the reluctant organ,
already resigned to a still death. 'You will bring to this wound
all that you can muster. You will bring your needles, you will bring
your thread, and the knitting will begin.'"

Book of Draga Forad
[form (food, sustenance) (poison)]
The art of Draga Forad is commonly employed but usually
only found in the spellbooks of food and wine connoiseurs, or poisoners.
In the backwoods villages of the Dekàlan countryside it is
not uncommon for housewives to know a small trick of Draga Forad with
which to spice a meat, or make the day's bread rise perfectly.
On long journeys, the art of Draga Forad becomes very important
to stave off the rotting of vegetables and spoiling of perishables. Panathan
caravaners frequently use these magics to keep fruits fresh during the
long haul to Kandal in the spring and fall.
Some have suggested that there are dangers to eating food
that has been "created" using the art. Such agitators
have called it Faeri food, and have claimed that it can make Uren sterile,
or worse yet, change Uren into Fae. The reports are widespread but
there is little evidence since very few can afford the luxury of having
their meals ensorcelled from the Chaos.
Notables of Draga Forad include Old Karal the Arçhek
of Ezmir (who reportedly poisoned the children of many towns in the 5th
century DR).
Grimoire Infinitum
Spells included here are not those owned or maintained
by the sirkùli or cults but rather spells that have fallen into
"outside" hands. Some of these spells have been so widely circulated
that ownership is no longer known or recognized. Sirkùli
spells may be found on the individual sirkùla pages. Cult
spells can be found on the individual religion pages.

Forad) With a short motion and incantation, the magician may befoul
a plate of food but leave it pleasing to the senses. The unlucky

further effect. The Type of poison made by this spell is Ingested
DC 10 + 1 per level of the caster. The poison's Initial Damage
is 1 Con with Secondary Damage of +1d4 Con at 1st, 3rd, and 5th level.
