For centuries the people of the region vied for control
of the lands surrounding the sheltered Nyr Platan. It
was not until the erection of the Temple of the Red
Stag in the late 6th century of Ancient Reckoning that
the peoples' focus turned to the rocky Kre Dulnar.

- Ghûlwood.
South of the festering Southswall
lies a crooked forest called the Ghûlwood.
The young spindly-limbed forest is littered
wth stones and grassy mounds which may contain
the resting remains of an ancient people. Despite
it's quiet, the wood is a haven for bandits
and thieves. The only road from the City
of Oth through the Elmark
passes between the forest's charred boles. The
woods were torched in 648 DR by Endren's
Seven in an attempt to rout bandits from
the area. The plan worked long enough to win
the High Lord's favor and permission to attack
the Theocracy
of Danok.
