"Too often days swiftly pass / Weeping in the evening grass / There just is not enough time / Forthings you dreamt you'd do / The hours still drift by.

"Too many years, too high a cost / Too many lessons earned but lost / And still you complain all the time / Cursing the days before you / Lamentng the days gone by.

"And finally laying in your bed / Staring skyward, nearly dead / It all floods back one last time, / The chances that you left behind / But alas there's little left to do / ... but cry."

  • Wonders of the World

Present (653 DR) -- LR

The character of a world's people is expressed through its Wonders.  These monuments represent the height of a civilization's achievement and act as gifts to the world and the ages.  Most wonders live on through history long after they have crumbled to dust while others stand immune to the wasting passage of time.

Wonders of the World

...

Tultaa Egn

High above the clouds that blanket the peaks of Sul-Tèrethor sits a giant throne carved by mighty hands in ages unknowable.  The people of the region call the seat Tultaa Egn ("chair of the sky").  They believe that the world creator made himself a seat on which to rest during creation.  Few have visited the site for there are not many that can climb the icy mountain slopes.  The mountain walls are littered with the bodies of expeditions that failed the ascent.  It is not necessary to make the climb to see the chair for it is plain to all on days when the skies are clear.
