The Peerage of Nakhêr
The First Panàthan Dynasty (House Nakhêr)
The Nakhêr Dynasty of Panath's origin extends into
antiquity before the founding of the city under the Dekàlan high
crown. In 114 AR, the Nakhêr were granted lordship over the
Golden City, and the burden of producing money and resources to support
the Dekàlan war machine as it pushed northward into the lands that
would become Kandal. The first member of the family that is recorded
in the Dekàlan record, was Malê Nakhêr father of the
first ruler. Honorifically referred to as Malê I, not much is
known about him except the story that he aided Anthus I in the conquer of
Panath, and led the conquering warlord to the greatest treasure of Panath,
the Nine Flames of Anugth. An ancient statue once stood in the Grand
Plaza commemorating Malê I but it was fell by revolutionairies in
62 DR, seeking to strip the city of all Dekàlan artifacts.
Malê I never wore the Golden Crown, for he was killed
in Kandalan Campaign. His son however, Arân I was crowned at
Panath in 101 AR in an attempt to consolidate power under the new King of
Lanas, Daran I.
