"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred
peers watching from the galleys above. She called her Provider's
name, and all could feel the power she commanded. [name3] summoned
his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts were in vain.
The next name she offered was his, and the misery of [name3]
was legend."

City of Cuilarulyr
Cradled between three mountain peaks and the
turning sky lies the ancient City
of Cuilarulyr. The residents of these stone houses
and paved streets have not lived here for untold centuries,
abandoning the city at some unknown time in the past for reasons
their own. Today the city stands empty except for the
moaning winds and the chatter of rock wrens.

The City of Cuilarulyr is divided by two avenue-lined
canals which cross at the city's fountain square. Each
avenue terminates at a mountainside temple, high above the
city streets. The main avenue begins at a toppled gate
that once welcomed visitors to the city and ends at the Temple
of Nuleun. It is not clear why the city was built,
but the location is unique. From the city's valley,
the moons of Teréth End appear twice their normal size,
revealing details of their surfaces that are difficult to
observe elsewhere. The temples of Cuilarulyr are constructed
from stones quarried from the three surrounding peaks, the
hue of which match closely the color of the moon to which
it is dedicated. It is not difficult to imagine the
significance this place must have had for the ancients.
Despite its great age, the buildings of Cuilarulyr
are surprisingly intact. Constructed from stone quarried
from the surrounding mountains, the houses here have stood
for millennia worn only by the wind and storms.

People
No one lives in Cuilarulyr. The only
people that visit this ancient place are the hunters of Calsàdor.

History
(Cuilarulyr)
It is not clear who the original builders of
Cuilarulyr were. Judging by the people of Calsàdor
however, it can be surmised that the final residents were
mostly Elve. There is evidence of Dwürden-style
workmanship throughout the city, not the least of which are
the bearded Head Buildings for each of the moon temples.
