"Wulwur looked out upon the fields where his tenants stood, despairing their wilted crop.  There would again be no harvest this year.  The Valanian had noticed the shrines fallen into disrepair, many of the stones had been removed to repair fences and chimneys.  They had sowed Kandlan's reward in the past and now would feel his wrath."

The dark jungles of southwestern Tasserus harbor many fell creatures, but few instill fear into the hearts of those that live on the jungles' outskirts than the terrible (though ambiguous) gorgyn.  In truth, the gorgyn is a loose categorization of monsters that applies to many unrelated creatures.  Many (including the Apostles of the Black Moon) use the broadest possible definition for"gorgyn", while others specify Gru, Ortor, Bru or others.  Whatever Taros is god-of, it is believed he is the patron god of monsters that come in the dark, and the terror they bring with them.

Those that worship (or fear) these creatures often refer to them as the Children of Taros.
