The Temple of Draun,
situated on the remote island city-state of Ildûn,
exerts extensive controls over the practice of Or
Dnur (necromancy) throughout the once-Empire of Dekàlas.
From time to time, these controls are not enough to stem the
use of these forbidden magics. In these cases, the Temple
sends Hunters into the lands to clean-up the damage that has
been done, and to punish those who set in motion these heretical
magics.
