"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred peers watching from the galleys above. She called her Provider's name, and all could feel the power she commanded. [name3] summoned his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts were in vain. The next name she offered was his, and the misery of [name3] was legend."

Qamari Swordmaster Living Blade UPRC1pp31,32 [OGC]

In the Qamar desert, hidden in the shadow of the Temple of Kargârak stands a circle of austere domed houses.  The people that live there dress plainly and keep their heads covered in the tradition of the Qamari people.  Come nightfall however, the residents of this commune move to the dark Temple and light the braziers that lift foul incense to the skies above.  In the glow of the blazing offerings, the people arrange themselves for practice, and begin a slow and methodical dance with their blades.  As the night progresses the dance grows faster until its culmination with the dawn.  At that time they cover themselves, tuck their blades beneath their garments and return to their homes.  Devoted to the dark god Kargârak, the swordsmen of Qamar are superbly skilled killers who are summoned to do the bidding of the Burning Lady (and some believe the royal family of Qamar).  Hit Die:  d8.  Requirements:  To qualify to become a Qamari Swordmaster, a character must fulfill all the following criteria: Race: Ortor, Uren (any); Base Attack Bonus: +7.  Feats:  Weapon Focus (any blade), Whirlwind Attack.  Skills: Knowledge (religion) +2.  Although most swordmasters are fighters, monks have also been known to join the ranks of the swordmasters.  Monk swordmasters may use their chosen blade-type as if it were a monk weapon (i.e. may use their unarmed attack bonus).  Class Skills:  The Qamari Swordmaster class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Balance (Dex), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Heal (Wis), Jump (Str), Knowledge (religion) (Int) and Tumble (Dex).  Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int modifier.  Class Features:   All of the following are class features of the Qamari Swordmaster prestige class.   Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Qamari Swordmaster is proficient in all simple and martial weapons and light armor and shields.

Dance of the Sword

Special Abilities: Weaponmastery (Ex): The Qamari Swordsman gains a +1 competency bonus on all attack rolls for one type of blade.  This bonus stacks with the bonus for Weapon Focus; Feasting Blade (Ex): This ability grants an additional +2 to damage rolls with the swordman's chosen weapon type.  Feasting Blade stacks with bonuses gained for Weapon Specialization, if the swordsman has that feat; Whirling Parry (Ex): At 3rd level, the swordsman may deny one melee attack from any one engaged opponent at the expense of one of his own.  Both removed attacks have the lowest base attack bonus for that combatant.  The use of this ability must be declared at the beginning of the round; Flurry of Blades (Ex): While using this ability, all opponents of the Qamari Swordmaster suffer a -1 circumstance penalty to their armor class during melee combat.  If the swordsmaster choses to Fight Defensively while using this ability, they gain an additional +2 dodge bonus to their armor class; Dance of the Sword (Ex): The most advanced ability and technique of the Qamari Swordmaster, Dance of the Sword is an intricate series of footwork, slashes and parries that allows the swordsman to execute an additional attack per round at his lowest base attack bonus.  Dance of the Sword is a full round action that allows the dervish to move a total of 10 ft, both before and after their attacks.
