"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred
peers watching from the galleys above. She called her Provider's
name, and all could feel the power she commanded. [name3]
summoned his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts
were in vain. The next name she offered was his, and the
misery of [name3] was legend."

Allyria > Eadean (Civilized)
|
Travelers often weclome the chance to
visit Eadean, particularly the port city of Alætharea
which is viewed as the artistic center of the Allyrian
Kingdoms (and disputably all of Vulmura, rf. Palda).
Among all the region's states, Eadean has the
reputation of being the most stable kingdom, and most
welcoming to visitors. Eadean is famous for its
wine and wool producing high country as well as the
fine linens and lacework made around Lagea.
|
Eadean is a temperate kingdom on the
southwestern shores of the Allyrian Sea. The kingdom's
only city, Alætharea was once captial of the ancient
Allyrian Empire. Though proud of their ancestors'
accomplishments, the only remains of that past are the
columned ruins and maimed and faceless statues scattered
across the countryside.

- Cærn Næsthmarea of
Kalthir (b. 2923, d. -- YW) was born in the kingdom
of Kalthir. She has ruled
the Kingdom of Eadean for fifteen years. A favorite
of the people of Eadean, Næsthmarea is a strong
patron of the arts and has remained publically visible
for most of her reign. Most of her six children
however are veritable unknowns and able to mingle
with commoners and nobles alike with anonymity. Næsthmarea
was crowned following the death of her husband in
2948 YW. Challenges to her succession were quickly
quelled by evidence of popular support.
- Toeldæn the Great (b. 1903, d. 1951
YW) was a 20th century astronomer famous for mapping
the motions of the four inner planets relative to
Teréth End. Though criticized by royal
astrologers of the time, his calculations were later
published in Old Allyrian and Dekàlan, where
he was invited to Panath in 4/2496 ER. Toeldæn
was presumably killed when his ship was lost during
the crossing. A university was later established
in his honor at Alætharea.
