"...[name] stood in the [name2] Hall, a hundred
peers watching from the galleys above. She called her Provider's
name, and all could feel the power she commanded. [name3] summoned
his wards, but all that watched knew his efforts were in vain.
The next name she offered was his, and the misery of [name3]
was legend."

- Candan. (hamlet)
- Darshshell. (village)
- Eswerd. (village)
- Lowswall. (small
town)
- Mothsmire. (hamlet)
A small neighborhood hidden in the fog-shrouded
pocket-swamps north of the City of Oth. The
community is plagued once a year with great
moth infestations. The moths are so numerous
that extinguish all torches and open lanterns,
leaving a nauseating smell. During
the Mothdays, people of neighboring Candan
and Wesridge prepare scented censers to ward
off the fluttering swarms. The neighboring
towns keep the secret of the incense a secret
from Mothsmire residents, not wishing the
moths to be repelled toward their own homes.
- Narhaven. (small
town)
- Seereth. (hamlet)
- Snidh. (hamlet)
- Sullet's
Square. (village) The northeastern
most village square of the Nardúral. The
name also applies to the surrounding neighborhood.
- Tavernton. (village)
Tavernton is a small neighborhood popular
for its marketplace and taverns. The
central borough square is dominated by a
large fountain statue of spewing fish.
- Toch's Square. (village)
A small flagstone square north of the City
of Oth named after the miller who originally
owned the land. The buildings are centuries
old but kept in good repair.
- Valeden. (village)
- Wesridge. (small
town) A large community that sits on a ridge
of three hills above the Candan and Mothsmire
marshes. All
avenues leading away from Wesridge are blocked
by walls and gates, creating a "secure" town. Each
of the town's three gates are guarded night
and day. There are some who consider
Wesridge a free town, independent from Oth
and its holdings. Although the town
has successfully avoided taxes for many years,
it is doubtful that is "free" status
would hold long under the direct scrutiny
of the Throne or Temple.

- The
Hanging Tree. A high and wide
tree north of Sullet's Square used for
local hangings. Recent executions
(as of 652 DR) included Egren the
Bad, Yala Sturn and the alledged wizard
Jacant Medera. Some consider the
area around the tree to be haunted but
all consider the place bad luck. Locals
do not look at the tree when they are passing
by for fear that a ghost will enter them
through their eyes.
