Northfields

North of the City of Oth is a verdant crescent of farmland known as the Northfields. Despite its relative size to the city, the Northfields provide much of the produce needed to sustain the area's enormous population. Those towns that exist on the border of North Wall are traditionally considered part of the Northfields if they are rural in nature. The lower half of Truden is an exception to this guideline.

  • Farren.  (village) The Farren marketplace is used by Northfields farmers and craftsmen to sell their produce and goods. The village center is crowded with livestock pens, produce yards and warehouses.  The contryside around Farren are covered with sheep farms marked with low stone walls.

  • Woodkeep.  (hamlet)
  • Tavra.  (hamlet)
  • Jorast.  hamlet)
  • Karet's Mill.  (village) A watermill along the Grassy Run and the community that has grown around it.  Karet's Mill is bordered by Sullet's Square to the west and Farren to the south.  This place was struck during the Urdar invasion of 12 Eren, 652 DR when Adae the Healer lead residents and a local militia to repel the "ugly folk".
