"Too often days swiftly pass /
Weeping in the evening grass /
There just is not enough time /
Forthings you dreamt you'd do /
The hours still drift by.
"Too many years, too high a cost /
Too many lessons earned but lost /
And still you complain all the time /
Cursing the days before you /
Lamentng the days gone by.
"And finally laying in your bed /
Staring skyward, nearly dead /
It all floods back one last time, /
The chances that you left behind /
But alas there's little left to do /
... but cry."

Galleron was a
hunter in the Dreamland forests surrounding Jadth until his
weakness for gambling found him owing more money than he'd
ever had. Held in a wooden cage on a river boat near
Zembra, Galleron pitched himself into the Run Suluth where
under a rain of arrow fire he was pulled from the frothing
waters onto an westbound barge. Following an even stranger
change of fortune, Galleron and his companions were drawn
into Dream where Galleron angered and was subsumed into a
chaos monster. As the Dream Galleron becomes less and
less each day, the waking Galleron is thrown deeper and deeper
into the depths of madness. |

Galleron (--?--) perished before reaching
the Orb of Dirapzir and was therefore unable to fully
manifest
a true Dream form. Not only did he die, but his psyche was absorbed into
one of the terrible denizens of the Dream realm. Due to this tragic transformation,
his Waking form is rapidly being driven insane with otherworldly thoughts and
cravings.

The dreaming Galleron
paid the price for provoking the whims of Dream. He
and all
his possessions were absorbed and transformed into the
tentacled
horror in
the Temple
of Unu-ud Ahd.
Characters in the Jadthàri Chronicles
that cross-over into Dream (or vice-versa) create 'secondary'
characters and track their experience from scratch. Eventually, successful Dreamers will be able to utilize experience and advancement from both realms (see Lucid Dreaming).
