"Wulwur looked out upon the fields where his tenants stood, despairing their wilted crop.  There would again be no harvest this year.  The Valanian had noticed the shrines fallen into disrepair, many of the stones had been removed to repair fences and chimneys.  They had sowed Kandlan's reward in the past and now would feel his wrath."

Tome of the Golden Harvest

Unu-ud Ahd

The Tentacled God

Spheres of Influence: Horror, Madness
Alignment: NE
Symbol: Curling tentacles
Divine Focus: Stone carved orb of curling tentacles
Center of Worship: The Temple of Unu-Ud Ahd beneath the Great City of Dirapzir
Color: Gray, green and violet
Animal: None
Appearance: The true shape and form of Unu-ud Ahd is unknown, but is represented by tentacles reaching from the darkness
Church: Temple of Unu-ud Ahd
Clergy: Kum-un Nar-amd (The Touched)
Raiment: Faithful might wear purple and gray robes with full hoods to cover the face
Sacrifice & Frequency: Sacrifice may have played a larger role in the rituals of Unu-ud Ahd in the past, but is no longer performed in the Temple
Advancement: Initiates of the Kum-un Nar-amd must walk the Bridges of Clo-on following many years of study and instruction.  Further advancement within the Temple is based on knowledge known and time served.  High Priests of Unu-ud Ahd are believed to be immune to the Living Waters and have no weakness of the mind.
Friends/Allies: In the ancient times of the Dream, the Kum-un Nar-amd was one of seven temples worshipped in turn by all Nuth
Foes/Enemies: Unknown
Sayings: "Beyond absolute madness lies equal understanding"

Not much is known about the origin of the Temple of Unu-ud Ahd.  The Nuth are not skeptical in the ways that Uren sometimes are, and do not question the whys and hows of their religion.

The seventh and final step of the traditional Mu-ur And, all Nuth (and others) that complete the pilgrimmage become elders of the community and are offered all the privileges that is part of that honor.  In the past, only a handful of Uren have ever completed the Mu-ur And, none of those returned to the Waking world.
